In Battle Pirates, hull upgrades can only be sped up using Gold or hull-specific upgrade tokens. General build tokens or hull-specific build tokens do not apply to upgrades. When attempting to speed up an upgrade, if you do not have the specific upgrade tokens, only the Gold option will be available.

 To manage your upgrades efficiently, ensure you have the correct tokens for the hull upgrade you wish to accelerate. Keep track of your tokens in the inventory to maximize their usage during events or time-limited offers.
