Let’s Talk ABout Facebook
Hey Pirates,
Hank here. I am sure by now that many of you have figured out that I am also the guy that posts on the Battle Pirates Facebook account.
Well, since I have returned to KIXEYE, I have noticed a lot of changes with that platform.
To start, AI is EVERYWHERE on there. Facebook has engrained it into almost everything you do there with the intention of helping.
However, one thing I noticed recently is that it affects the algorithm of what players might see or be notified of. I became aware of this after speaking with several players about offers that they were NOT seeing. In addition, it also seems that some people were not seeing my Release Notes posts right away. Weird right?
Obviously, I cannot control Facebook on that level.
However, I have a suggestion. When it comes to offers, I would advise you, THE PIRATES, to review offers on KIXEYE.COM going forward. That is the only way that I think you will be able to see what is being offered, all the time. Even if you predominantly play Battle Pirates on Facebook, still go to KXL to see offers, make purchases if you can.
