Overview
Next week we are introducing a change to the gold purchasing system in War Commander. Previously, if players did not have enough gold for a specific action, they were prompted to make a purchase for the exact amount missing. This feature, known as dynamic purchasing, is now being removed. Instead, players will now be prompted to purchase gold packages from the regular store and then use it to complete their desired actions. Additionally, a new gold package priced at $1.99 has been added to offer more flexibility in purchasing.
Dynamic Gold Purchasing, No More!
With the removal of dynamic purchasing, you will no longer see the prompt to buy only the gold needed when you attempt to perform an action that requires more gold than you currently have. Instead, you will see the Gold Store, with current sale prices, just like you would see when clicking on the gold + icon.
How to Purchase Gold
- Locate Your Gold Total: Next to the resources, Click the + next to the gold total.
- Select Gold Packages: Choose from a variety of gold packages that suit your needs.
Available Gold Packages
The store now offers the following gold packages:
- 20 Gold for $1.99 (New)
- 50 Gold for $4.99
- 100 Gold for $9.99 (+5 Bonus Gold)
- 500 Gold for $49.99 (Most Popular, +50 Bonus Gold)
- 1000 Gold for $99.99 (+150 Bonus Gold)
- 2000 Gold for $199.99 (Best Value, +400 Bonus Gold)

Previously, if you tried to upgrade your Drone Silo to level 16 but did not have enough gold, you would see a prompt like this:
With dynamic purchasing removed, you will now be prompted to choose from the current gold packages, including bonus gold, and the lowest prices available.
