The following changes & fixes are being applied in the Wednesday, October 1st, at 3 PM PDT update.
[Nightmare: Underworld]
Corpus forces led by Orpheus have descended into the depths of Hell to stop Verkraft mining operations. While this victory was needed, it may have come too late. It’s obvious now that Verkraft delved too greedily and too deep, and they have awakened an ancient evil. Dark shadows cover the sector, and long starved bats have begun their desperate feast. Just as this global eclipse is at its peak, a fiery experiment from Corpus Labs awakens, and the flames are eager to proliferate.
In Nightmare: Underworld, the last Arc I unit, the Firefly, lights up the night, and you can earn it in the Event Store and Mission Track. A breakthrough on the lava flows! Infantry, fueled by their commitment to their leader, Pele, now soar on jetpacks, raining down fiery, rocket-propelled destruction. They hope to morph the war into an unstoppable eruption for their cause. It’s a Low Altitude Unit, and at Level 10 increases its Range by 50, and at Level 20 it can target Air. You’ll also be able to unlock its Tech, Autolift, Cyclical Plates, Thermite Core, Inferno Sweep, and Uber Werfer.
Also available in this Event is this year’s Nightmare exclusive unit, Bloodfang.This daywalking vampire has its MAX LEVEL HEALTH at level 1, drains the life to heal himself from the infantry he hits, with the health regeneration increasing at level 5. At level 10 he gains bats that attack air units, as well as every 30 seconds in battle gains 50% Reduced Damage taken, Double Movement Speed, and 50% more Damage for 5 seconds.
Remember, Bloodfang is exclusive to the month of October. You can unlock this death dealer by earning all 40 parts in the Nightmare Store, or in the Gold Store. All of Bloodfang’s Upgrade Tokens and Tech will be available on October 1st in the Gold Store. His Enhanced Speed Tech will be available in both the Nightmare Event Store and Gold Store, The Seductive Aura Tech and 10 Upgrade Tokens will be available in the Strike Ops Store, and Vampyric Blade Tech and 15 Upgrade Tokens will be available in the Nightmare Skirmish Store. A special Spec Op, The Dark Knight, will have 1 available for FREE in the Nightmare Event Store after unlocking Bloodfang, and more can be purchased in the Gold Store after unlocking Bloodfang. It will temporarily boost Bloodfang to its Max Level and apply all 3 pieces of Tech for 2 hours, so you can try it out if you want to use him at higher levels before the Upgrade Tokens become available in stores later in the month.

All October long we’ll be having some special deals in the Gold Store. Starting off with this release, we’ll be featuring the Bloodfang and all its Tech and Upgrade Tokens, along with everything for Nox, Bub, and Dr. Logan.
