Hailing all War Commanders!

This is Young Russell speaking, the Design Lead on War Commander. We've heard your feedback on the Sabre, and we are making some changes accordingly.

To start, we are doubling the Damage per Second. This is through increasing the Damage per Shot and altering the firing pattern to be more consistent with less downtime. 

We removed negative damage scaling against distant enemies, so even if the Sabre sticks at max range, it won't receive a debuff. This change should majorly increase its effectiveness when Rubi is controlling the battle. 

We are giving it a 30% damage reduction from Turrets and Ground Units. This will give it a lot of survivability to make it better at the role of distracting enemies while moving and shooting.

Speaking of Moving and Shooting, we were able to allow the unit to pick up building targets if there are no other units close by. This means you won't have to pump the brakes every time you want to target a new building. 

To me, Corpus is all about tech and options, so we added two Variant Techs to the Event Store.

Infernus Variant will swap the weapon to a flamethrower that does double Damage to Ground Units but 30% less Damage to Buildings, and the Rocketeer Variant will swap it to a rocket that does double damage to buildings but 30% less Damage to Ground Units. There are versions of this tech for Violette also. So the whole family can have fun.
