Season 3 Changes
1. Fairer Demotions for Inactive Players
In past seasons, some players weren’t being demoted properly if they didn’t earn medals, and as a result, didn’t show up in the ranking system at all. This led to higher ranks being overcrowded and some active players being demoted unfairly. The demotions were corrected earlier in Season 2.
Starting in Season 3, all players—whether they earn medals or not—will be included in the promotion and demotion system. If you don’t participate, you’ll be treated as having zero medals and ranked accordingly.
2. Updated Rank Sizes
We’re adjusting how many players can be in each rank to better reflect the prestige and competition required for the higher ranks. Here's how ranks are shaping up for Season 3:
Diamond: 500 players
Platinum: 1,000 players
Gold: 4,000 players
Silver: Active PvP’rs
Bronze: Everyone else
These updates make it easier for the most active and competitive players to earn top spots, while keeping lower tiers more meaningful for casual or returning players.

3. New Badges for Top Players
Starting this season, we’re introducing new badge rewards for the top PvP players across the globe. These badges are earned by finishing in the top 3 of your rank and will be visible on your profile, so everyone knows who rules the seas.
