Introduction

Captains, welcome to the official T14 Siege Strategy Guide. This guide aims to give you some insights on target mechanics for the new Siege hull, the Invictus. Learn about your enemies, and find general target info to help you in battle. Good luck!

Gore Rot Clan Hideout

Remnants of the bio-weapon left behind by Robo-Vassago and his Worldeaters have been scavenged by a party of the Windriders Clan. Ever resourceful, the Reavers have integrated pieces of the bio-weapon into their existing arsenal, giving rise to a large-scale radioactive weapon. For weeks, one of the Legion’s reconnaissance fleets–dispatched by Zoe–has been tracking the Windrider Reaver Clan’s movements. Upon finally witnessing the weapon tests, their concerns escalated as they grasped the true scale of destruction. In response, the Legion deploys the Invictus to intercept and eliminate all altered weaponry the clan has crafted, hoping to rid the waters of such power once and for all.

Tier 14 Siege Hull: Invictus

The Invictus is equipped with 8 weapon slots, 2 armor slots, 6 special slots, 2 heavy armor slots which are unlocked at U3 and X1, and 1 Heavy Weapon slot which is unlocked at U1.

The Invictus’s main weapon, the Phaethan Launcher, fires at medium range, dealing Radioactive damage. The Launcher is accuracy based and with enough hits a splash based Shockwave is triggered.

Using the Built-in Flareborn Thrower

The Invictus has a built-in Thrower called the Flareborn that fires a burst of flames dealing radioactive damage, continues to fire and the splash that’s left on impact grows! If firing stops, splash is reset to its starting splash value of 20.

Glossary

Range definitions are relative to the primary season hull. Thus what is short for one hull might be considered medium for another, the goal is to convey easily to players which turrets/ships they can outrange and which turrets/ships may be firing on you from a considerable distance away.

  • Very Short = Easily out-ranged.
  • Short = Out-rangeable.
  • Medium = At least the same range as the player but generally not much more.
  • High = Will easily outrange the player hull.
  • Very High = Will cover a significant portion of the target.

If the arc is not specified then it has a 360 degree arc.
