Overview
The Fusion Factory allows players to upgrade Weapons, Armors, and Officers by fusing lower-rarity components into higher-rarity ones. This system is a great way to get more value from excess rarity components and improve your fleet’s performance.
Getting Started
Q: What is the Fusion Factory?
A: The Fusion Factory lets you combine duplicate rarity components to create higher rarity versions of the same component. This includes:
Weapons
Armors
Officers
You can access it from the Fusion Factory building once it is built.
Q: How do I use it?
A:
Enter the Fusion Factory.
Select the tab you want to work with (Weapons, Armors, or Officers).
Choose an item from the inventory panel on the left.
The right panel will show:
The item name (based on the selected component).
Required components for fusion.
A quantity selector and rarity preview.
If you meet the requirements, the Fuse button becomes active.
Fusion Interface Behavior
Q: Why doesn’t the item name change when I select a new rarity?
A: The item name in the top right always reflects the original component you selected on the left panel. It does not update to match the selected output rarity, so always check the rarity icon below the name for what you’re fusing into.
Q: What happens when I don’t have enough components to fuse?
A:
The needed components turn red in the "Components required" section.
The Fuse button becomes disabled.
You’ll need to reduce the quantity or acquire more components before continuing.
Example: If you have 28 copies of an Uncommon item but try to craft 8 Rare versions (which requires 32), the required item will highlight red.
Q: Does the game auto-select which components to use for fusion?
A: Yes. If you have enough components of the required rarities, the game will automatically calculate and display the correct breakdown.
Example: To fuse 15 Legendary Heavy Hexalattice Plating CO:
The system shows it will use 132 Rare and 27 Epic because that's what you have.
The cost and output are the same, even if you adjust this manually.
You can also manually select the amounts if you prefer more control, but the fusion cost per unit is fixed regardless of how it's split between rarities.
Fusion Math & Inventory Tips
Q: What are the component costs by rarity tier?
A: While exact numbers may vary, here are common patterns:
Weapons & Armors: 4 of a rarity to the next level.
Officers: 3 of a rarity to the next level.
Q: What does "Only show fusible Components" do?
A: This checkbox filters your inventory to only show components that can currently be used in fusion based on:
The selected rarity level.
The components you own.
It’s especially helpful for large inventories.
